From July 14th, the city’s A-level tourist attractions will be temporarily closed, and the Weizhou Island tourist area will suspend the reception of tourists from now on. Our city timely finds out the number of stranded tourists through the global tourism big data system, publicizes the epidemic prevention and control policies and measures to tourists through multiple channels, and strives for the understanding and support of tourists; Implement measures to safeguard the return of passengers as soon as possible. In response to the problems reported by tourists, the city has set up a special tourism service class to carry out service and guarantee work to ensure that tourists’ appeals are actively responded to and handled prudently.

“Starting from July 14th, we have organized tourists to leave the island in an orderly and rapid manner with Xinyi Cruise Co., Ltd., and have ensured sufficient transportation capacity.” Beihai City Weizhou Island Tourism Zone Management Committee Office director Zheng Xinghua told reporters that under the leadership and overall coordination of the Municipal New Crown Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters, medical staff rushed to the island. In the past few days, the staff of the Wei Management Committee have done a good job in epidemic prevention and control for tourists as required, and organized tourists to conduct a free nucleic acid test every 48 hours; the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau and the Wei Management Committee have worked together to promptly resolve the appeals of tourists staying on the island, except for paying close attention to them. In addition to handling complaints on the 12345 government service hotline in a timely manner, it also arranges personnel to resolve tourists’ demands in the petition room, conflict resolution center, and in-depth homestays, actively respond to tourists’ demands and handle them in a timely manner. For example, after learning that there are diabetics and 7-month pregnant women among the tourists, they will coordinate the purchase of hypoglycemic drugs and nutritional products in the urban area and send them to the island by cargo ships. Under the coordination and advocacy of the Wei Management Committee, homestay businesses on the island responded positively, proactively providing convenient services for tourists staying on the island, and reducing the cost of accommodation.

It is reported that there are a total of 505 tourists on the outlying islands. After landing at the Beihai International Passenger Port, the tourists leave the Beihai through a closed-loop channel. At about 4 p.m. that day, the reporter saw at Beihai International Passenger Port that relevant personnel from tourism and sports, transportation, public security and traffic police, tourism law enforcement and other departments came to the scene early, checked each link repeatedly, and negotiated to solve relevant problems to ensure tourists. Safely leave the North Sea.

After disembarking, the staff will guide you to the closed-loop bus or pick up the car from the parking lot. The whole process was orderly, and many tourists were satisfied with Beihai’s thoughtful arrangements.

Mr. Li, a tourist from Henan, was a little excited: “Our family of 7 came to Weizhou Island for vacation. We never thought about the sudden outbreak of the epidemic in Beihai.
