I. Overseas imported epidemics
From 0 to 24:00 on March 16, Fujian Province reported 2 new confirmed cases imported from abroad (both reported by Xiamen City).
3 new cases of imported asymptomatic infections were reported on the same day (all reported from Fuzhou City); 2 cases were released from isolation.
As of 24:00 on March 16, Fujian Province has reported a total of 833 confirmed cases imported from abroad, of which 69 are currently hospitalized, and there are no deaths; currently reported asymptomatic infections imported from abroad are still receiving centralized isolation medicine 23 cases were observed.
II. Local Epidemic
From 0 to 24:00 on March 16, Fujian Province reported 99 new local confirmed cases (92 in Quanzhou, 5 cases in Xiamen City, 1 case in Sanming City, and 1 case in Ningde City).
42 new cases of local asymptomatic infections (41 in Quanzhou and 1 in Longyan) were reported that day.
Since March 11, Fujian Province has reported a total of 166 local confirmed cases, including 2 asymptomatic confirmed cases; 166 hospitalized cases and no deaths; there are still local asymptomatic infections 86 cases received centralized isolation medical observation.
III. Close contacts
At present, 51,324 close contacts have been released from medical observation, and 4,846 people are still under medical observation.
