Beijing Centers for Disease Control and Prevention conducted whole-genome sequencing on the specimens of previously reported school clusters infected with the virus. The sequences of imported cases were compared, and no highly homologous sequences were found; they were highly homologous to the virus sequences sampled abroad and uploaded to the international new coronavirus database in January 2022.
