Disinfection operation points of the building where the community-positive infected person is located (with teaching video)

Shanghai CDC.

Introduce information on vaccination, AIDS counseling and testing, tuberculosis treatment, health check-up, health evaluation and testing. Disseminate health knowledge on infectious diseases, chronic diseases, food/nutrition/environment/occupational/radiological hygiene, etc., publish knowledge on prevention and control of major infectious disease outbreaks, major health-benefiting service information and work trends. Promote healthy living knowledge and conduct public surveys and feedback.

The Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention introduced that after the positive infection is found, the street and town disinfection teams will carry out key disinfection in the public areas of the building in accordance with the technical specifications. After the positive infected person is transported, a professional team will carry out final disinfection. After the terminal disinfection, the environment is basically restored to safety, and the property service company resumes the daily general preventive disinfection of the building to keep the building clean and hygienic. So, what are the preparations for disinfection before departure? How is on-site disinfection implemented? How to clean up after disinfection? See ↓

1 . Preparation before departure

(1) Understanding Basic situation

Learn about the basic situation of the building to be disinfected, and clarify the disinfection tasks, such as the floor of the building where the positive infected person is located, and the objects to be disinfected. Estimate the amount of disinfectant and check the quality of the disinfection equipment.

(2) Prepare items for disinfection

< div class="pgc-img">

1. Carry corresponding disinfectants according to the objects to be disinfected. Hand sanitizer, chlorine dioxide disinfectant, disinfectant wipes, etc.

2. Carry corresponding disinfection equipment according to the disinfection object. Manual or battery constant sprayer (for surface disinfection) and battery ultra-low volume sprayer (for air disinfection), etc.

3. Bring appropriate personal protective equipment. Hats, KN95/N95 anti-particulate masks, goggles (or face shields), protective clothing, shoe covers, rubber shoes, gloves.

4. Other supplies. Medical waste bags, sealed bags, on-site disinfection operation record sheets, etc.

II. On-site disinfection implementation

1. Wear protective equipment. Outdoors near the building where the positive infected person is located, wear secondary protection in the prescribed order (hand disinfection → wearing a hat → wearing a mask → wearing goggles (if selected) → wearing protective clothing → wearing shoe covers → wearing gloves → wearing protective visor (if selected).

2. Prepare a disinfectant (if there is no faucet outside the building where the positive infected person is located, it can be configured in other fixed places). Fill the sprayer with water up to the mark for the required amount of sanitizer. In the manual or battery constant sprayer used for surface spraying and disinfection, add 5 chlorine dioxide disinfection tablets with a content of 100mg/tablet per liter of water. In the ultra-low-capacity sprayer for air spray disinfection of batteries, add 2.5 to 5 chlorine dioxide disinfection tablets with a content of 100 mg/tablet per liter of water. Other content of disinfectant tablets are added according to the instruction manual, and gently stir until completely dissolved.

3. On-site disinfection. Enter the building to be disinfected and start spraying or spraying. One disinfectant used an ultra-low-volume sprayer to disinfect the air from the top floor of the building down the corridor, and another disinfector used a constant sprayer to disinfect the door handles, stair handrails, handrails, etc. Elevator buttons, access control call buttons, floors, etc. are disinfected. Disinfection objects are not omitted and no dead ends are left. Disinfection of the object surface is suitable for visible moisturization and beads of disinfectant.

4. Disinfection sequence. The sterilizers step out and backward in turn, while sterilizing, until the air and the surface objects to be sterilized are completely sterilized, and then exit the sterilization area.

Three. Cleaning up after disinfection

< p class="pgc-img-caption">

1. Disinfection After the end, spray the outer surface of the disinfection equipment or wipe it with disinfectant wipes outdoors.

2. Open the medical waste bag in an outdoor place with no one, take out the hand sanitizer, and take off the personal protective equipment in the prescribed order (hand disinfection → take off). Face shield (if selected) → take off gloves → hand disinfection → unfasten shoe covers → hand disinfection → take off protective clothing (take off together with shoe covers) → hand disinfection → take off goggles (if selected) → hand disinfection → take off mask → Hand disinfection→Take off hat→Hand disinfection). Put on a new mask.

3. Knot the medical waste bag with a “gooseneck knot”, tie it with a sealing tape, and spray and disinfect the outer surface.

4. Fill out the disinfection work record sheet if necessary.

5. Disinfectants should evacuate with disinfectant supplies and garbage.

6. Dispose of garbage at a fixed location, dilute the remaining disinfectant, and then pour it out, and clean the disinfection equipment. Garbage is collected, transported and disposed of as medical waste.
