The Tomb-sweeping Day is approaching, there are great hidden dangers and high risks of forest fires, and the forest fire prevention situation is very serious. To this end, Dianzi Township, Heshui County attaches great importance to the responsibility, takes multiple measures, and makes every effort to build a fire safety barrier for forests and grasslands to ensure the safety of people’s lives, property and forest resources in the area.
Recently, Dianzi Township held the 2022 Forest Ranger Business Training Conference. The training focused on wildlife protection, forest fire prevention, the use of the ranger’s inspection system, and the safety knowledge of the ranger’s mountain patrol. At the same time, the duty of the forest ranger was emphasized, and the forest ranger was required to do “responsibility to people and inspections to the mountains” in their daily work, to do a good job in forest fire prevention publicity within the scope of management and protection, and to check the hidden dangers of forest fires, and timely stop illegal use of fire in the wild and Illegal logging, deforestation, theft of forest trees, and persecution of wild animals.
After the training, the forest rangers immediately returned to work and started their day-long patrol and protection work. Lv Chaoyong, a villager in Shuangliushu Village, has been a forest ranger for several years. He walks through the reserve every day. “It takes about two or three hours from the bottom of the mountain to the top of the mountain. Try to take a look at every hidden danger corner to ensure that no fire source enters the mountain and ensure the safety of the trees.” Lv Chaoyong said.
It is understood that in order to effectively do a good job in forest and grassland fire prevention and fire fighting, Dianzi Township has established a forest and grassland fire prevention and fire fighting work leading group, formulated a fire emergency plan, divided work responsibility areas, and formed a fire fighting team. Sufficient fire-fighting materials are prepared, emergency materials are regularly maintained, and fire-fighting knowledge and skills are trained for forest guards and fire-prevention personnel. To be prepared, to ensure that the whole township forest protection and fire prevention work is foolproof.
