Brucellosis (brucellosis) – protection all year round!

brucellosis

“There are hundreds of flowers in spring and the moon in autumn, cool breeze in summer and snow in winter. If there is no brucellosis disturbing my heart, it is a good time in the world.” Brucella Sickness, referred to as brucellosis, is a zoonotic infectious disease caused by a bacteria called “Bruceella”. Brucellosis includes brucellosis among animals and brucellosis among humans. It usually spreads in livestock such as sheep, cattle, and pigs, and then spreads to humans. In recent years, with the continuous increase of livestock breeding and the frequent circulation of animals and their products, zoonotic diseases such as brucellosis have continued to rise, which not only seriously affects the development of animal husbandry, but also seriously endangers people’s health and public health safety. Brucellosis can occur all year round, but different seasons have different characteristics and different prevention and control measures. We will focus on the brucellosis occupational groups, mainly breeding personnel, and tell everyone in the form of jingle in spring, summer, autumn and winter how to take preventive measures such as personal protection to avoid contracting brucellosis.

Spring brucellosis prevention and control

It’s freezing cold in spring, so I wake up at midnight;

The ewes are nervous in labor, and they are busy inside and outside the circle.

Long-sleeved gloves, syringes, gauze scissors, uterine contractions,

masks, hats, leather apron, gauze-iodine, and ready-to-use.

The pens should be thoroughly disinfected, just wait for the sheep to come to the world;

Be hard on the ground and bleat, and send them to the delivery room immediately after giving birth.

The ewes are busy with dystocia, don’t panic if the fetal position is not correct;

Use the palm of your hand to return to the birth canal.

Using force to follow the trend and hold on, take out a pair of lambs;

Wipe mouth and nose to promote breathing, dry mucus to avoid cold,

Umbilical cord disinfection Iodine, temperature and humidity should be guaranteed.

After washing my hands, it is dawn, and the rising sun welcomes the rising sun.

Keep in mind the prevention and control of brucellosis, the six animals are prosperous and people are healthy.

Tips

“The most common way of contracting brucellosis is through skin and mucous membrane contact. Midwives are involved in picking up lambs and handling aborted fetuses, placentas, afterbirths, and stillbirths. When killing lambs, in addition to wearing masks, hats, work clothes, rubber aprons and rubber boots, the most important thing is to wear long-waisted rubber (or latex) gloves. Aborted products should be shoveled with a shovel, buried deep in a pit, and disinfected with quicklime or caustic soda on the housing and ground contaminated by aborted secretions. After work, personal hygiene, hand washing and disinfection should be done well.
