In order to activate the tourism market in Jinsha County, starting from July 9, the county will officially hold a 20-day cultural event around the theme of “Colorful Jinsha·Charming Lotus” Tourism activities aim to effectively stimulate consumption potential and promote the development of tourism industrialization.
According to reports, Shilihe Embankment is located along the Xiluo River in Xiluo Street, on the outskirts of Jinsha County. There are three communities in the group, covering an area of 1,500 acres. In summer, the lotus flowers are in full bloom and the lotus roots are fragrant, attracting many tourists from both inside and outside the county to come for sightseeing and become a new tourist destination.
The current lotus culture season is hosted by Jinsha County People’s Government. The activities include the Orchid Stone Exhibition, Sending Culture to the Countryside, Variety Shows, Product Exhibitions, Food Festivals, Chess and Go Competitions, “Colorful Sands” Cultural Tourism Activities (Torch Festival), sports events, etc.
On the opening day of the event, art groups and art workers from inside and outside the county staged performances of “Lions in the Lotus Pond”, “Colorful Sands”, Miao dance “Miao Lan”, instrumental performances “Water Dragon” and “Miracle”, Street dance “Youth Chinese Dream”, magic “Illusion”, as well as wonderful catwalks, group singing “A Niu” and “Shoulder”, reciting “Chinese Language”, dance “New Yi Girl” and other diverse and colorful literary and artistic programs.
