Foresight to prevent myopia

Natural gifts must be cherished during the critical period of vision development.

The prevention and control of myopia relies on science, and we work together to support it.

Students grow regularly and study healthily.

Healthy behaviors promote health and a bright future.

1. Keep your posture straight when reading and writing, Shoulders flat, waist straight, chest straight, and “one punch, one foot and one inch” when reading and writing:

★ One punch: one punch between the chest and the table (a distance of one fist);

★ One foot: The distance between the eyes and the book is one foot (about 33 cm);

★ One inch: The distance between the finger holding the pen and the tip of the pen is one inch (about 3.3 cm).

Continuous reading and writing for 30-40 minutes, with at least a 10-minute break for activities; do not read in dim light and direct sunlight, and do not lie down, lean, or sit on the sofa to read.

2. When watching TV, mobile phones and other electronic products, maintain a good sitting posture, with shoulders relaxed, upper back extended, upper arm and forearm at a 90-degree angle, wrist Relax and breathe regularly.

When using a TV, the viewing distance should be more than 4 times the diagonal distance of the screen;

★ When using a computer, the viewing distance should be more than 50 cm (about an arm’s length).

★ When placing electronic products (such as computers), ensure that the top of the screen is at eye level.

3. Ifthe continuous online learning time or video screen time exceeds 20 minutes to 30 minutes, at least 10 minutes of active rest.

4. During the interval between online learning or video, consciously close and open your eyes with a little force, move your eyes up and down, left and right, and relax your eyes.
