According to the Henan Health and Health Commission, from 0 to 24:00 on August 1, there were 2 new local confirmed cases in Henan Province ( 1 case in Erqi District of Zhengzhou City; including 1 case of asymptomatic infection transferred to confirmed case, 1 case in Luoshan County, Xinyang City), 67 new cases of local asymptomatic infection (54 cases in Shangqiu Minquan County, 5 cases in Ningling County) , 2 cases in Yongcheng City, 4 cases in Luoshan County, Xinyang City, 1 case in Erqi District, Zhengzhou City, and 1 case in Shunhe District, Kaifeng City), and there were no new local suspected cases. There are no new confirmed cases, asymptomatic infections and suspected cases imported from abroad. 2 local confirmed cases were cured and discharged (1 case in Kaifeng City, 1 case in Zhumadian City); 33 asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation, including 31 local cases (29 cases in Zhumadian City, 2 cases in Pingdingshan City) and 2 cases imported from abroad.
From January 21, 2020 to 24:00 on August 1, 2022, a total of 3,226 confirmed cases (3,009 local and 217 imported from abroad) were reported across the province, and they were hospitalized. There are 23 cases (20 domestic cases and 3 imported cases), and 329 asymptomatic infections still under medical observation (298 domestic cases and 31 imported cases). A total of 145,520 close contacts have been traced, and 9,018 close contacts are being observed.
