Henan Health and Health Commission reported that from 0 to 24:00 on July 31, 43 new local asymptomatic infections were added in the province (33 in Minquan County, Shangqiu, 1 in Ningling County, 4 in Luoshan County, Xinyang City, 2 in Gulou District, Kaifeng City, 1 in Shunhe District, and 2 in Erqi District, Zhengzhou City), no new local confirmed cases cases, suspected cases. 1 new case of asymptomatic infection was imported from abroad, and there were no new confirmed or suspected cases imported from abroad. 33 cases of asymptomatic infection were released from medical observation, including 32 local cases (28 cases in Zhumadian City, 3 cases in Xinyang City, and 1 case in Kaifeng City), and 1 case imported from abroad.
From January 21, 2020 to 24:00 on July 31, 2022, a total of 3,224 confirmed cases (3,007 local and 217 imported from abroad) were reported across the province, and they were hospitalized. There are 23 cases (20 domestic cases and 3 imported cases), and 296 asymptomatic infections still under medical observation (263 domestic cases and 33 imported cases). A total of 145,014 close contacts have been traced, and 9,031 close contacts are being observed.
