On July 31, an aerial photo of the waters near Jishan, Duchang County, Jiujiang, Poyang Lake, Jiangxi Province, showed a large area of tidal flats and wetlands protruding from the water surface. Many egrets perched, foraged and “dancing” near the outcropping tidal flats.
