At that time, when there was no bicycle, it was impossible to think of coming to the hometown of “Yakesy”, but the lyrics of “Yakesy, Yakesy…” were memorized. Later, I heard this song many times and watched Yakexi’s dance many times, but it was not as good as my understanding of the phrase “Yakexi” when I came to Xinjiang today – the “good” of the Uyghur people.
“Visitors on the Iceberg” belongs to Xinjiang that I know from film and television. I have not forgotten the song “Why are the flowers so red” and the lines of “Amir, Chong”. Even if you visit Tianchi in Tianshan Mountain, when you have a group meal at the “Amir” store, you don’t forget to “Amir, Chong”. The most predestined relationship is the songs about Xinjiang, the songs “Almuhan”, “Kelamayi”, “Girls in Dabancheng”, especially “The grapes in Turpan are ripe”, they are really the ones I planted in the small courtyard. Harvest 500 catties of grapes and they are ripe.
Turpan is known and longed for because of the song “The grapes of Turpan are ripe”, and it is remembered and engraved because of the Flaming Mountain Sun Wukong’s battle with Princess Tiefan in “Journey to the West”. Karez, one of the great projects, is fascinating.
When I really stood in front of the fiery Flaming Mountain, it fulfilled the philosophy of “the mountain is not high, the immortal is the name”. No matter whether you look at it from a distance or from a close distance, the Flame Mountain is not very conspicuous. The bald mountains and ridges are barren and no grass grows-perhaps this is its mystery. The Flaming Mountain, a huge basin with an altitude of -155 meters, seems to be able to focus all the light of the sun. The 69 degrees displayed by the No. 1 thermometer in the world tells everyone who comes here that you are enjoying the warmth of “No. 1 in the world”. It was already a heat wave when we went out of the tourist car door, which directly impacted everyone’s heart. Along the underground exhibition hall to the ground to see the sculptures of the Flame Mountain, Princess Iron Fan and the Bull Demon King, together with the four masters and apprentices of Tang Seng, greeted guests from all over the country on the red land where no grass grew. As a tourist, there are only dozens of minutes left, but the local people, horses and camels living in a high temperature environment of 70 to 80 degrees, are also really tempering their ability to fight against nature like gods.

This place that creates the sweetest grapes in the world has raised generations of children in Turpan. They rely on grapes to survive and are famous all over the world because of grapes. The green boat in the vast Gobi desert with high temperature and drought and less rainfall than evaporation is undoubtedly a miracle of life. The people who lived here invented the karez that conveyed water from underground culverts, which reduced the evaporation of water from the ground, and created a unique karez, which made the glaciers and snow water of the Tianshan Mountains water the fertile vineyards and made Turpan an oasis and fertile land. It has been playing an important role for more than 2000 years. What you have to admire is that people’s wisdom is displayed in any difficult and difficult environment. Really walking to the Karez can make people realize that “it is water that makes people smarter”, and what they see is a picture of people living in harmony with nature.
Xinjiang’s clouds and sky, mountains and water, sun and stars, food and fruits are really too cheap. More spiritual enjoyment. Especially the fiery enthusiasm of Turpan left an eternal memory on his neck – this is the most “precious” gift received during the trip to Turpan. You have to accept this kindness and take her back to your hometown, so that you will always remember this beautiful trip to Xinjiang.
