The uterus, one of the female internal reproductive organs, is located in the center of the pelvic cavity and is shaped like an inverted pear. The wider upper part of the uterus is called the uterine body, the protuberance at the upper end is called the fundus, and the two sides of the fundus are the uterine horns, which communicate with the fallopian tubes. The lower part of the uterus is narrow and cylindrical, called the cervix, and extends into the vagina.

Pregnant fetus is the best uterus we can see and feel intuitive effect. We are all born after implantation in the womb. After a woman reaches puberty, the lining of the uterus begins to shed periodically, resulting in menstruation. After conception, the fertilized egg implants, grows and develops in the uterine cavity.

3. Protect the ovaries

4. Immune function

5. Related to menstruation

The functional layer of the endometrium is the site of embryo implantation, which is regulated by the changes of ovarian hormones. Since puberty, the endometrium undergoes periodic changes under the action of hormones secreted by the ovaries, that is, every 28 days or so.
