According to the official news from the Ningxia Health and Health Commission, on July 19, 2022, a case of plague (bubonic plague) was confirmed in the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University. The patient Liu Moumou is 45 years old and works as a herdsman living in Shanghai Temple Ranch, Otuokeqian Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. At around 9:00 on July 12, Liu Moumou consciously had fever, fatigue, unconsciousness, and watery diarrhea. He returned to Yinchuan from Inner Mongolia and went to the Third People’s Hospital of Yinchuan City. At around 11:00 on July 13, he went to the autonomous region. The Fourth People’s Hospital, who was treated at the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University on July 14, was diagnosed as a suspected case of plague on July 19, and a case of plague was confirmed on the same day.

The Third Yinchuan City The staff of the People’s Hospital told reporters that at present, the doctors and nurses on duty in the hospital who intersected with the confirmed cases on the 12th have taken corresponding isolation measures, and the relevant areas have also been fully sterilized. He said that the community was temporarily closed for a while on the evening of the 19th, and it can pass normally today. The lives of most residents in the community have little impact.
The staff of the community neighborhood committee to which the community belongs told reporters that the unit where the confirmed case lives is currently under temporary control and management, and the relevant area has been sterilized overnight, and the family members of the confirmed case have also been Was taken away for quarantine overnight.
