The green mountains are hidden in the sea of clouds, and the ten thousand acres of tea forests are dripping with green color. Wengji Ancient Village is located in Mangjing Village, Huimin Town, Lancang Lahu Autonomous County, Pu’er City, Yunnan Province, surrounded by Jingmai Mountain. The dry-column building adapted to the rainy climate is especially simple and quiet after the wind and rain.
There are many Blang people living here. Most of the villagers make a living by growing tea. The totem with buds and two leaves on the roof tells the origin of tea. In spring, the tea leaves are blooming, and the mountains are green, and the long tea-picking tone echoes in the dense forest; in summer, the clouds and mists change, and the sunset glow reflects the smoke from the cooking; in autumn, the tea tree flowers are in full bloom, and the tea farmers fly their fingers in the layers of dense fog to pick tea leaves; in winter, there are also Flowers bloom, brightening the dark green Jingmai Mountains.
In recent years, the village has continuously improved infrastructure and strengthened the protection of ancient villages.
