The ancient city of Lijiang is located in the middle of the Lijiang Dam. The streets in the ancient city are built along mountains and rivers, paved with red breccia, including Sifang Street, Mufu, Wufenglou, Heilongtan, Wenchang Palace, Wang Pizhen Memorial Hall, Snow Mountain Academy, Wangjiazhuang Christian Church, Fang Guoyu’s former residence, White Horse Longtan Temple and other attractions. Lijiang is one of the second batch of approved famous historical and cultural cities in China, and one of the two ancient cities in China that have successfully declared the world cultural heritage with the entire ancient city.
