Among them, the youngest death case was a woman in her 40s. Zhuang Renxiang, a spokesman for the command center, said that the case had a mental illness and was not vaccinated. She became ill on July 13 and died that day. , As for whether to seek medical treatment or medication, it is not known because there is no follow-up detailed epidemic investigation.

Zhuang Renxiang said that there have been a total of 4,184,399 local cases on the island this year, including 19,055 moderate and severe cases and 7,520 deaths. At present, the proportion of mild and asymptomatic patients is 99.55%.

Of the 72 new deaths today, 65 had a history of major cancer or chronic disease, 52 had not received three doses of the vaccine, and 47 were over 80 years old.
