Chongqing Huaxia Ophthalmology Department was approved as a non-public “Bright Center” guiding hospital in Southwest China

This conference is the “Bright Center” project jointly initiated by the National Eye Disease Clinical Research Center and the Beijing Bethune Public Welfare Foundation. At the conference, the first non-public “Bright Center” guidance hospital in Southwest China was officially awarded. A high-standard eye fundus disease diagnosis and treatment center will be built to provide patients with one-stop services of “examination, diagnosis and treatment, and health education”.

Zhou Xiyuan, director of the “Bright Center” project, said that with the increasing number of patients with fundus diseases, ophthalmologists are required to conduct early examination, screening and early diagnosis to prevent more patients from becoming blind. The project of “Bright Center” is mainly aimed at the chronic disease management system for patients with fundus diseases. The first non-public “Bright Center” in Southwest China is located in Chongqing Huaxia Eye Hospital, which can combine the power of public medical and non-public medical care, and can also drive More non-public medical institutions have joined to jointly promote the implementation and advancement of the “Bright Center”, so that more patients with fundus diseases can benefit from it.

At the same time, Chongqing Huaxia Eye Hospital will also take this opportunity to further carry out standardized diagnosis and treatment of fundus diseases, implement a feasible management model for chronic fundus diseases, and strive to become a high-standard fundus disease diagnosis and treatment center, and continuously improve medical quality and Medical services to escort the eye health of more citizens.
