The 5th Chinese Parents’ Day and Renyin Year’s Worship to the Yellow Emperor Leizu was promoted by Henan Provincial Filial Piety Culture Promotion Association, Henan Provincial Folk Writers and Artists Association, Henan Provincial Yellow Emperor Hometown Culture Research Association, and Xinzheng Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China Hosted by the Ministry. Since 2001, Xinzheng City has held the Leizu Cultural Festival in Fenghouling, Guci Mountain every year on the sixth day of the sixth lunar month.
Guci Mountain is an important starting point for the founder of Chinese civilization, Xuanyuan Huangdi, where Huangdi cultivated morality and mobilized troops, unified the various ministries in the Quartet, and created the Chinese civilization. Leizu helped the Yellow Emperor to pacify the world and laid the foundation for Bi’s administration. He invented mulberry cultivation, silkworm reeling, silk weaving, and clothing education. Huangdi and Leizu are not only the blood ancestors of the Chinese nation, but also the civilization ancestors of the Chinese nation, laying the foundation for the long history and culture of the Chinese nation.
Every year on the sixth day of the sixth lunar month to commemorate Xuanyuan Huangdi and Leizu, it is recorded in history and passed down from generation to generation. On Fenghou Ridge, the main peak of Guci Mountain, there is also the Mandarin Duck Terrace where the Yellow Emperor and Lei Zu met under the moon and got married on June 6 or 8. Up to now, the Yuanyang Terrace is still standing on the east side of Yingri Peak, witnessing the beautiful love between Xuanyuan Huangdi and Leizu.
