Shaanxi added 3 new cases of local asymptomatic infection on July 3, all in Xi’an

According to the Shaanxi Health and Health Commission, from 0-24:00 on July 3, Shaanxi Province newly reported local asymptomatic infections 3 cases, all in Xi’an.

As of 24:00 on July 3, there are currently 3 local confirmed cases under isolation and treatment in the hospital, and 6 asymptomatic infections under isolation and medical observation.

Local asymptomatic infected person 1, male, 33 years old, reported from Xi’an City, the nucleic acid test result was positive in the screening of key populations, and was diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia by the municipal expert group Asymptomatic infected persons are currently being quarantined in designated medical institutions for medical observation.

Local asymptomatic infected person 2, male, 52 years old, reported by Xi’an City, is a close contact of the local confirmed case released on July 2. The nucleic acid test result was positive, and the city-level expert group was diagnosed with asymptomatic infection of the new coronary pneumonia. Currently, he is isolated for medical observation in designated medical institutions.

Local asymptomatic infection 3, male, 69 years old, reported from Xi’an City, the nucleic acid test result was positive in community screening, and was diagnosed as having no new coronary pneumonia by the municipal expert group. Those infected with symptoms are currently quarantined for medical observation in designated medical institutions.

The specific activity trajectories and working conditions of the above local asymptomatic infected persons will be released by Xi’an City.

From 0:00 to 24:00 on July 3, there were no new reports of imported confirmed cases, suspected cases and asymptomatic infections. 2 of the confirmed cases were cured and discharged, and 2 of them were released from centralized isolation and medical observation.  

As of 24:00 on July 3, there are currently 11 confirmed cases imported from abroad and 13 cases of asymptomatic infection under isolation medical observation.
