According to the spirit of China Association for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Science and Technology’s “Notice on Launching the 2022 “National Science and Technology Workers’ Day” activities and the unified deployment of China Association for Science and Technology, the “2022 Annual The National Science and Technology Workers Day Rehabilitation Science Activities of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine” was held from May 23 to June 15.
The theme of this event is “Innovation and Rehabilitation, Science and Technology Benefit People’s Rehabilitation”, and adopt a combination of online and offline methods. The main contents include rehabilitation science theme day activities, online science cloud lectures, dialogues Rehabilitation – online face-to-face interviews with experts on rehabilitation, as well as offline popular science volunteer services across the country.

At the Rehabilitation Chairperson Science Forum held on the theme day on May 30, Professor Hu Dayi, a well-known cardiovascular expert in my country and an academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, a well-known expert in rehabilitation medicine in my country, and an American Professor Li Jianan, an international academician of the Academy of Medical Sciences, and the chairman of the branch of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, a total of more than 30 well-known medical experts in the country, focused on neurological, sports, severe diseases, pain, chronic diseases, children’s rehabilitation, epidemic health management and other topics. He gave wonderful lectures on rehabilitation science, disseminated scientific ideas, advocated scientific methods, carried forward the scientific spirit, and improved the health literacy of the people.

During the event, various branches of the society, local rehabilitation medicine associations, and national rehabilitation science demonstration bases organized a total of 60 cloud lectures on science with different themes, from 27 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, more than 150 people. More than 300 experts from various medical institutions and colleges and universities have given lectures on rehabilitation science knowledge around all-round and full-life-cycle health, disease prevention and rehabilitation. “Conversational Rehabilitation” online live interview activity, connecting more than 30 rehabilitation medicine experts, sharing various rehabilitation medicine technologies, applications and development, and disseminating cutting-edge health concepts and practical rehabilitation skills to rehabilitation medicine professionals and the general public. During the same period, 56 offline popular science volunteer services were held in 21 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) including Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Yunnan, Qinghai, Hubei, Jiangxi, Shaanxi, Guangxi, Heilongjiang, Henan, Hunan, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia and Hainan. The program was launched, and a number of rehabilitation popularization volunteer service teams went to the grassroots and the community to popularize health management and rehabilitation knowledge through offline free clinics, health education and other channels.

This series of rehabilitation popularization activities was selected by the China Association for Science and Technology to be included in the popular science platform for key recommendation and live broadcast. Simultaneous broadcast, it is expected that the online and offline participation and viewing audience will exceed 10 million people.
