605 Hunan-aided medical team members returned on 5 chartered flights

At noon on May 23, 605 members of the Hunan Provincial Aid Shanghai Medical Team took five chartered flights of China Southern Airlines and flew from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport to Hunan Changsha Huanghua International Airport.

It is understood that these medical staff belong to the Hunan Provincial Aid Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Medical Team. They flew to Shanghai on April 15 to undertake the admission and treatment of patients at Gudan Road Fangcai Hospital in Xinchang Town, Pudong New Area. As of May 15, the cabin has been closed, and a total of 5,242 people have been treated. Except for full-term pregnant women and infants, the treatment rate of Chinese medicine for patients in the cabin has been 100%, and there have been zero accidents in the cabin, zero deaths of patients, and zero infections among team members. It has made important contributions to the epidemic prevention and control work in Shanghai.

Since April 3, China Southern Airlines Shanghai Branch has transported 43 charter flights to ensure the entry and exit of medical teams from all over the country.
