From 15:00 on May 22 to 15:00 on May 23, Beijing added 63 new cases of local new coronary pneumonia virus infection, 23 in Fengtai District, 16 in Fangshan District, 14 in Haidian District, 4 in Dongcheng District, and 3 in Tongzhou District. 2 cases in Xicheng District, and 1 case in Huairou District; of which 58 cases were controlled by personnel and 5 cases were screened for social aspects.
Among the 5 new social screening cases, one had entered the same Internet cafe with the previously infected person.
At present, 19 consecutive positive cases have been detected in the Friendship Community of Haidian District, which are related to multiple family gatherings and gathering entertainment activities. There is a risk of transmission of clustered epidemics in Youyi Community, No. 32 Fuxing Road, Dongcheng District, Dongcheng District, Haidian District, etc.; the new cases in Fengtai District are mainly people from Yuegezhuang market-related centralized isolation and closure control areas, and the epidemic is slowing down.
According to the “Beijing New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic Risk Classification Standard”, Chaoyang District 1 and Fangshan District 5 have adjusted the risk level. As of now, Beijing has 10 high-risk areas and 25 medium-risk areas.
