It can be seen from the data released in the annual report that the prevention and control of malignant tumors is still severe. In the late 1950s, Henan took the lead in carrying out tumor follow-up registration in Linxian area. By the end of 2021, more than 100 districts and counties in the province have established tumor registries, covering about 70% of the province’s population, and a tumor follow-up registration system that reflects the basic information on the incidence and death of malignant tumors in urban and rural residents in Henan has been initially formed.
