March 3 every year is National Ear Day. On the occasion of the 23rd “National Ear Care Day”, Zhang Jizhong, Deputy Chief Physician of Otolaryngology Department of Rongcheng People’s Hospital, was invited to Qingshan Community to give a lecture on ear care and health knowledge. The cadre office was held, attracting many community residents to the scene to listen.
During the activity, Deputy Chief Physician Zhang Jizhong first introduced the current number of hearing-disabled children in my country and the number of new-born hearing-disabled children every year. The three aspects of “Hazardous” and “Hearing Rehabilitation Knowledge Answers” explained in detail the physiological structure and functions of each part of the auditory system, deafness symptoms and precursors, pathogenic factors, and how to use the ear safely. Listeners benefit greatly.
This activity further enhanced community residents’ awareness of loving and protecting their ears, enabling them to master the scientific knowledge of hearing health care, and effectively enhance the ability of the public to prevent hearing disabilities. (Li Yu)
