The best age for childbearing is here! Both men and women, come and see

Women are often more stressed than men when it comes to being “promoted” and “promoted.” Once you pass the 30-year-old line, it seems that someone is always worried about you:

“If a woman is over 30, it will be hard to find a partner! If you are a few years later, it will be difficult to have a child! Even if you want to conceive, you will not be able to conceive!”< /p>

But think about it carefully, people nowadays generally marry later and have children later, with all kinds of introversion and pressure, it seems that it is not bad to make people willing to have children, so many people take it all day. Is the “best reproductive age” an exaggeration?

First of all, does this “best age for childbearing” really exist?

Theoretically, there is indeed, and it is generally believed that women’s 25-34 years old are the best age for childbearing. And this “best” can be mainly understood from two aspects.

One aspect is a woman’s fertility, which is the probability of being “pregnant.”

It is currently believed that with increasing age, women’s fertility will decline, especially after the age of 35. Overall, the older the age, the lower the fertility. Although there are some exceptions, women after the age of 43 are rarely able to conceive naturally and have a successful live birth [[1].

Fertility refers to the probability of conception within one menstrual cycle, and the decline in fertility may be related to a variety of factors.

A woman is born with a certain number of oocytes that decrease with age. Oocyte quality also declines with age because meiotic abnormalities occur more frequently with age [[2], and the number of chromosomally abnormal oocytes in ovulation increases, leading to decreased fertility and spontaneous abortion Risks also increase.

A number of studies have found that older women are not only less likely to conceive naturally, but are also less likely to have a successful pregnancy through artificial cycles or artificial insemination.

For example, a classic study of women undergoing artificial insemination due to male infertility (azoospermia) found that women 35 and older had lower conception rates and required more cycles to achieve conception [[3]].

Of these, women ages 26-30 have similar conception rates to women ages 25 and younger, while women ages 31-35 have moderate success rates. The conception rates for women under 31, 31-35 and over 35 were 74%, 62% and 54%, respectively.

On the other hand, there are problems and complications that women may encounter during childbirth, as well as fetal abnormalities and poor prognosis.

In the first trimester, older women experience higher rates of spontaneous miscarriage, with the vast majority of miscarriages occurring between 6 and 14 weeks of gestation [20]. Among the causes of these miscarriages, the most common is chromosomal abnormalities, both triploidy and euploidy, mainly caused by the decline in oocyte quality, and changes in uterine and hormonal functions may also play a role.

In addition, women ≥35 years of age have a 4- to 8-fold higher risk of ectopic pregnancy than younger women [a4]. At the same time, the risk of fetal chromosomal abnormalities, especially aneuploidy, shows a steadily increasing trend with increasing female age [5].

Older women are also at increased risk of pregnancy-related complications, such as a population-based study of nearly 830,000 singleton births in Washington state Compared with pregnant women, women aged ≥40 years had an 8-fold increased risk of amniotic fluid embolism and a 3-fold increased risk of obstetric shock.

Hypertension and diabetes, two of the most common medical complications of female pregnancy, increase in older women, especially those who are obese, as do placental problems. The prevalence of preeclampsia in the general obstetric population ranges from 3 to 4 percent, increases to 5 to 10 percent in women over the age of 40, and as high as 35 percent in women over the age of 50 [6]. There is also an increased risk of preterm birth and stillbirth

But then again, is it because of the various factors attached to these “best childbearing years” that we must rush to set a goal to achieve “fertility before the age of 35″ Mission” completed?

Even if you make do with a person to get married and have children, or even if you don’t know enough about this person at all, the purpose is to avoid making yourself a “senior mother”?

It’s really unnecessary to give up eating because of choking.

In fact, there is currently no absolute and universal definition for “pregnant women of advanced age”. The effect of age on fertility is often continuous, rather than a specific threshold. It doesn’t mean that it’s OK to have a baby at the age of 34. After the 35th birthday here, the switch of childbirth will be turned off with a “pop”.

With the development of society, more and more women can live with more contraceptive measures, and can choose more opportunities for further study and career development. In this case, late marriageLate childbearing has become an unavoidable trend, and childbearing should be a choice for women, and should not be an indicator that must be completed on women.

With the wave of late marriage and childbearing, it is not impossible for us to do anything.

If you choose to wait, you can work hard to develop good living habits, pay attention to balanced nutrition, quit smoking and limit alcohol, so as to keep your body in a healthy living state as much as possible. Be prepared for later births.

Even past the age of 35, you still have a lot of hope that you can have a baby safely and protect your health by fully understanding the risks you may face , to do a good job in the prenatal examination, which can reduce the risk of accidents as much as possible.

At the same time, we also need to understand that having a child is not just creating a fertilized egg with sperm and egg, and then giving birth to this child into the world.

Birth is two people working together. It means growth and responsibility. It means that two people work together to create the continuation of their own chromosomes. When a child is born and becomes a parent, what will happen in the future? Taking care of children is a long-term consideration.

Before giving birth, the anxiety brought about by age should not be the compulsive reason for giving birth. Perhaps the most reasonable “childbearing age” should be two people who are considering giving birth. After what to do, what they need to face, and what they need to pay, they still decided and made that calm and solemn choice.
