At about 8 pm on April 4th, Dr. Liang Liping of the Radiation Center of Huashan Hospital Hongqiao District received a call from the patient Mr. Zhang. The other party asked anxiously on the phone, the nucleic acid report he made at Huashan Hospital in the morning has not yet found the results, can he still come for radiotherapy tomorrow? Liang Liping contacted the laboratory department of the hospital while appeasing Mr. Zhang and telling him not to worry. Soon, the laboratory replied to Liang Liping that the radiotherapy patients and their family members who came to the hospital for nucleic acid treatment today were all negative. After eating this reassurance pill, Mr. Zhang finally felt relieved.

Mr. Zhang, who came to Shanghai for treatment from other places, suffered from oligodendroglioma and needed radiotherapy after surgery. Due to the sealing and control management, the previous radiotherapy plan had been delayed. very anxious. And there are many patients like Mr. Zhang who are waiting for radiotherapy near the hospital. In order to serve and manage these patients, before the closure and traffic control in Shanghai, Professor Wang Yang, secretary of the party branch of the radiotherapy center, led party members and doctors to pack their bags and take root in the hospital as soon as possible, and maintain “point-to-point” telephone communication with these outpatient radiotherapy patients every day. , to understand each patient’s condition, nucleic acid testing situation, and the closure and control of the place of residence one by one, and to appease the patient’s anxiety. After learning about the urgent treatment needs of outpatient radiotherapy patients, Hongqiao Campus immediately organized a “radiotherapy work discussion group”. While controlling the bottom line, carefully sort out possible risk points, actively adjust the medical treatment process, conduct on-the-spot investigations many times, and deduce various disposal plans. The hospital also urgently recalled the physicists, technicians and nurses from the radiotherapy center. Party members and employees actively signed up and returned to work after passing strict flow adjustment, nucleic acid testing and antigen testing.

At 7:30 a.m. on April 5th, under the state of closed management The Hongqiao Campus of Huashan Hospital welcomed nearly 200 radiotherapy patients and their accompanying family members, most of whom were outpatient radiotherapy patients from the closed community. They entered the hospital in an orderly manner under the guidance of security guards, completed blood tests first with the assistance of outpatient staff, and then passed the verification of the health cloud gate, and were guided into the outpatient hall, where they waited for the test results and radiation therapy.

At about 8 o’clock that night, as the last patient finished treatment and left the hospital smoothly, after 13 hours of continuous work, the radiotherapy center completed a total of 84 cases of radiotherapy throughout the day.

The epidemic prevention and control has pressed the pause button for the city, but “the epidemic is not separated from each other”. Take the lead and cooperate with multiple departments to form a joint force to escort the treatment of radiotherapy patients.
