HPV vaccination project for school-age girls
Implementation plan issued
It is planned to vaccinate 71,000 people
Yesterday, the Provincial Health and Health Commission and The Provincial Department of Education jointly issued the “2022 Implementation Plan for the HPV Vaccination Project for School-age Girls in Hainan Province” (hereinafter referred to as the “Plan”), and plans to vaccinate 71,000 people in 2022.
According to the “Plan”, the scope of project implementation is 18 cities and counties in the province and Yangpu, and the inoculation targets are school-age girls in our province (13 years old to 14 years and a half years old for the first dose of vaccination). Girls who are contraindicated in vaccination or girls who have been vaccinated against HPV are not included in the scope of vaccination. Vaccination adopts the method of unified organization, appointment registration, and centralized vaccination.
This project uses domestic bivalent HPV vaccine, which is uniformly organized by cities and counties to purchase and distribute, and implement vaccination according to “informed consent, voluntary free”. The “0-6” two-dose immunization program is adopted, that is, the first dose is vaccinated for 6 months before the second dose is vaccinated to ensure that two doses of vaccination are completed before the age of 15. It is not recommended to vaccinate other HPV vaccines after the whole course of vaccination with domestic 2-valent HPV vaccine.
