The surface is a white crust, the surrounding is red, and the inflammatory reaction is severe. If measures are not taken in time, it will become more serious.
Dong Pingding, the head nurse of the endocrinology department of our hospital, immediately asked the hospital-level pressure ulcer care team for consultation after checking the patient. After a joint discussion, it was proposed that the patient was incontinent, difficult to turn over, easily caused incontinence dermatitis, and needed to use a urinary catheter and sleep on an air mattress. Coupled with the patient’s underlying disease, the wound is easily infected, and local debridement should be considered to accelerate wound healing.
