The wife was only 2 months pregnant, and the monthly mortgage was 21,000. The husband was only 28 years old. He died suddenly while exercising in the gym.
A lot of people must have seen this message. This is the saddest news I’ve heard over the New Year.
Over the years, I have also rescued many patients with myocardial infarction, syncope, and sudden death, including young people:
I rescued a 14-year-old middle school student 3 years ago. He fainted while running and was sent to the hospital. I thought it was a myocardial infarction. After angiography, it was found that the opening of the largest blood vessel in the heart was torn Crack is blocked. Later, the rescue was successful, and the child is now in high school. Of course, this child is mainly a congenital malformation of cardiovascular development. Myocardial infarction induced by stimulation of blood vessel tearing after exercise is different from the myocardial infarction we usually say.
The 20-year-old college student I rescued 8 years ago was a typical myocardial infarction caused by a blood vessel thrombosis, which is exactly the same as the myocardial infarction we usually say. He was preparing for the postgraduate entrance exam and stayed up late every day to smoke a lot. As a result, he suffered a myocardial infarction. Later, he failed to pass the postgraduate entrance examination, but luckily, he was rescued.
A small number of sudden deaths are caused by cerebrovascular disease, aortic disease, pulmonary embolism, and digestive tract diseases. Most sudden deaths are caused by heart disease.
Which heart disease is more likely to cause sudden death?
I. Confirm coronary heart disease, especially patients with severe coronary heart disease
1. The probability of having another cardiac arrest within 1 year is as high as 70%.
2. People who have experienced angina pectoris or myocardial infarction in the past 6 months, especially in the past 1 month, are at high risk of sudden death.
3. In patients with definite coronary heart disease, if the coronary heart disease is not well controlled, it is easy to develop myocardial infarction and lead to sudden death.
These are basically coronary heart disease, and usually have a clear medical history.
2. Heart disease other than coronary heart disease
In addition to sudden death caused by coronary heart disease, there are also a small number of other heart diseases, such as arrhythmias (long QT syndrome, Brugada syndrome, third-degree atrioventricular block, Narrow QRS-complex supraventricular tachycardia (narrow QRS complex), which require an electrocardiogram or a Holter monitor.
There are also some cardiomyopathy and heart failure, which need to be checked by cardiac ultrasound; very few people with a family history of sudden death may also need to be checked by genetic testing.
The discovery of these heart problems requires active and regular treatment to reduce the risk of sudden death.
After all, I still have to say that most people, most of the sudden cardiac deaths are myocardial infarction. The 28-year-old young man also suspects that the sudden death caused by myocardial infarction.
How can we prevent sudden myocardial infarction death?
1. Unhealthy lifestyles such as smoking and drinking, eating and drinking, obesity, staying up late, being irritable and angry will aggravate vascular stenosis, aggravate atherosclerosis, and cause coronary heart disease . If you continue the above unhealthy lifestyle, it will also induce plaque rupture to form thrombus, block blood vessels, and cause sudden myocardial infarction. Therefore, to prevent sudden death, it is necessary to live a healthy life. The college student I rescued suffered a myocardial infarction after staying up late and smoking a lot!
2. Appropriate exercise is good, but strenuous exercise is not advisable. Exercise should be based on your own physical strength. The exercise suggestion for healthy people is that exercise can cooperate with speaking, but not singing. strength is appropriate. But recently I am very tired or often stay up late. In a state of fatigue, it is not recommended to exercise, and rest first in a state of fatigue. Wait until your stamina recovers before exercising. The junior high school student I rescued caused a myocardial infarction due to a torn blood vessel induced by strenuous exercise. The 28-year-old company employee is also said to have suffered cardiac arrest during exercise!
3. Physical examination: to know whether you have high blood pressure, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, whether your electrocardiogram is normal, whether there is arrhythmia; you must know your heart color Doppler ultrasound Is it normalized, whether there is cardiomyopathy, etc. If there is a problem, it must be controlled, otherwise it will increase the risk of sudden death.
4. Most of the sudden deaths actually have clues. Studies have found that 75% of sudden deaths have symptoms similar to angina pectoris before. Diagnosing angina pectoris is complicated, we share a simpler method. That is, you can usually run, go to the 5th and 8th floors, and exercise without discomfort. But recently, after running, going upstairs, or exercising, I have experienced various discomforts such as chest pain, chest tightness and suffocation, pain in the frontal area, headache, toothache, back pain, stomach pain, etc. This kind of discomfort can be relieved by resting for a few minutes, so at this time you have to see a doctor as soon as possible, at this time you have to suspect angina pectoris, sudden death of myocardial infarction and call the police!
What can we do before 120 arrives?
Acute myocardial infarction is 25 times more likely to develop ventricular fibrillation within the first hour than after 24 hours. That is, the first hour, the most likely to die suddenly!
And this time is also the time period before 120 arrives. What should we do?
1. Don’t deal with it blindly. Pat your arms, beat your chest, cough hard, and acupuncture and bloodletting will not alleviate the condition, but even aggravate the condition. The patient should just sit or lie down quietly!
2. Find AEDs around you as much as possible for emergency use, as shocks are the most effective in the event of ventricular fibrillation.
3. Be prepared for chest compressions and CPR if you do not have an AED.
4. If the blood pressure is not low, you can take nitroglycerin under the tongue. If there is no relief, you can take it again every 5 minutes. If there is still no relief, it is not recommended to continue taking it to avoid low blood pressure. side effects such as blood pressure. You can also take Jiuxin Pills, but everyone must be clear that when a myocardial infarction occurs, drugs cannot solve the problem. Only by opening the blood vessels as soon as possible can save lives. At this time, the biggest role of the drug is actually to comfort the patient.
5. After waiting for 120, 120 to arrive, give full authority to 120.
In short, sudden death is caused by disease, and most of them have clues. The key is whether we can find it and whether we can prevent it!
The sudden death of young people is almost always caused by staying up late, stressful and unhealthy life, so young people should work hard, but not desperately!
Leaving at the age of 28, my wife is 2 months pregnant, and there is a huge mortgage loan. How will she live in the future, I hope she will get out of her sadness soon, and I hope her mother will have a better life in the future!
