March 21 every year is World Sleep Day. The theme of this year’s World Sleep Day is “Quality Sleep, Sound Mind, Happy World” (good mood, good world, starting with good sleep), and the theme of China Sleep Day is “good sleep, healthy peers”.
According to statistics, the current global sleep disorder rate is 27%, more than 300 million Chinese have sleep disorders, the incidence of insomnia symptoms in Chinese adults is 38.2%, and the incidence of insomnia disorders is 10%. A sleep survey report released by the China Sleep Research Association in 2021 shows that searches for sleep problems have increased by 43% in recent years.
