Today, Li Ang, deputy director and spokesperson of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, introduced the relevant situation on the application scenarios and population of antigen testing, results interpretation standards, and disposal management procedures.
The first category is that primary medical and health institutions have respiratory symptoms, fever and other symptoms during admission, and symptoms appear within 5 days For patients with symptoms, it is preferred to cooperate with hospitals or nucleic acid testing institutions to conduct nucleic acid sampling and testing on patients with symptoms, and primary medical and health institutions with conditions can conduct antigen testing at the same time.
If the antigen test is positive, the primary medical and health institutions should immediately report to the district health and health commission and the disease control department, and transfer them according to the work requirements of the personnel related to the new crown pneumonia epidemic. For those with negative antigen test, the primary medical and health institutions will follow the procedures of clinics and other primary medical institutions to admit patients with 11 types of symptoms such as fever, and the patients will complete the nucleic acid test within 72 hours after seeing the doctor according to relevant requirements.
It is worth noting that if the patient needs emergency treatment, the primary medical and health institutions can conduct antigen testing while providing emergency treatment to the patient.
The second category is the application of quarantine personnel. Personnel in home isolation observation, close contact and sub-close contact, entry isolation observation, closed control area and control area shall be managed by relevant management departments (such as communities, villages and towns, isolation points, building supervisory units, etc.); during the isolation observation period Carry out nucleic acid testing in accordance with the requirements of the current prevention and control plan, and conduct an antigen self-test every day for the first 5 days; people in buildings, buildings and related units that need to be temporarily controlled due to the entry and exit of positive infected persons or close and sub-close contact personnel may be On the day of control, an antigen test is used for rapid initial screening, and nucleic acid test is carried out according to the requirements of the current prevention and control plan during the control period; if the antigen test is positive, nucleic acid test must be carried out immediately for confirmation.
The third category is community (village) residents who need self-testing. They can purchase antigen test reagents under their real names through retail pharmacies, online sales platforms, and other channels for self-testing. Residents who test positive for the antigen must immediately report to the community (village) where they live, and the community (village) will handle and report in accordance with the relevant requirements of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic.
If the antigen test is negative, asymptomatic residents can be closely observed, and antigen test or nucleic acid test should be carried out when necessary; symptomatic residents are recommended to go to a medical institution with a fever clinic as soon as possible to conduct nucleic acid test; If it is inconvenient to see a doctor, you should self-isolate at home, avoid going out, and perform an antigen self-test every day for 5 consecutive days.
Li Ang reminded that for those who have completed the isolation observation and are in the health observation period, it is recommended to carry out the antigen self-test during the interval of nucleic acid detection. For those who enter (return) Beijing, it is recommended to conduct antigen self-test as soon as possible after entering (return) Beijing, and complete the nucleic acid test within 72 hours according to the time limit. For those who have recently purchased “four categories” of drugs and have 11 types of symptoms such as fever and have gone to primary medical institutions for medical treatment, it is recommended to perform antigen self-test within 72 hours.
It should be noted that nucleic acid detection is still the basis for the diagnosis of new coronavirus infection. Antigen detection is characterized by rapidity and simplicity. But it cannot replace nucleic acid detection.
