On the morning of March 13, the inaugural meeting of the Nanchang University-Jingde Traditional Chinese Medicine Traditional Chinese Medicine Evidence-Based Medicine Research Fund Committee was held at the Donghu Campus. As another achievement of school-enterprise cooperation, Nanchang University-Jingde Traditional Chinese Medicine Decoction Pieces Evidence-Based Medicine Research Fund Committee officially settled in the School of Public Health.
Professor Cao Hui, Director of the National Engineering Technology Research Center for Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and representatives from Jiangxi Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Jiangxi Provincial Food and Drug Administration, Leping Municipal Government, Nanchang University School of Public Health, and Jingde Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. delivered speeches respectively. Congratulations on the establishment of the branch center and foundation. Experts and scholars from various colleges and affiliated hospitals of Nanchang University, Jiangxi Children’s Hospital, Hongdu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Leping Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and other units put forward suggestions for future research work.
The meeting also held the appointment of the members of the foundation committee and the signing ceremony of the first batch of projects. Huang Peng, director of the Evidence-Based Medicine Center of the School of Public Health, was hired as the chairman of the foundation.

Nanchang University-Jingde Traditional Chinese Medicine Decoction Pieces Evidence-Based Medicine Research Fund Committee was initiated and established by Mr. Xu Conglin, a 90-year alumnus of Nanchang University and chairman of Jiangxi Jingde Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd., and is affiliated with the Evidence-Based Medicine Center of the School of Public Health. The foundation aims to deepen school-enterprise cooperation, promote the discipline construction of evidence-based medicine, encourage and support Nanchang University alumni to carry out relevant basic medical and clinical research on ancient decoction pieces, in order to further explore the medicinal value of ancient decoction pieces and strive to practice our province.
