According to Wu Jinglei, yesterday (March 16), there were 8 new local confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia and 150 local asymptomatic infections in our city. Among the 8 confirmed cases reported yesterday, 1 case was converted from an asymptomatic infection to a confirmed case, 2 cases were found in centralized isolation and control, and 5 cases were found in nucleic acid screening of relevant risk groups. Among the 150 cases of asymptomatic infection, 69 cases were found in centralized isolation control, 1 case was found in the co-investigation of people returning to Shanghai from other provinces, and the rest were found in the screening of related risk groups, all of which have been closed-loop transferred to the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center for isolation and treatment. Case 2: Female, 35 years old, living in Tianlinba Village, Xuhui District. She is a close contact of a local asymptomatic infection reported by the city. She is under centralized isolation and control, and the nucleic acid test results are abnormal.
Case 3: Male, 38 years old, living at the construction site opposite No. 267, Chongjiao Road, Jiading District. The nucleic acid screening of relevant risk groups is abnormal, that is, they are centrally isolated and controlled.
Case 4: Female, 78 years old, living in Taoyuan New Village, Jiading District. She is subject to abnormal nucleic acid screening for relevant risk groups, that is, centralized isolation and control.
Case 5: Male, 52 years old, living in Taoyuan New Village, Jiading District. The nucleic acid screening of relevant risk groups was abnormal, that is, they were centrally isolated and controlled.

The above-mentioned 7 people were all diagnosed as confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia (mild) after consultation by the municipal expert group, comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging examination results. These 150 people were found to have abnormal nucleic acid test results during centralized isolation control or screening of risk groups. Today, they were reviewed by the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention as positive for the nucleic acid test of the new coronavirus. After consultation with the municipal expert group, 150 people were diagnosed as asymptomatic infection of new coronary pneumonia by comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory test and imaging test results.
As of 9:00 on March 17: A total of 15,786 close contacts in Shanghai have been investigated for this epidemic, and all of them have been put under control. Among them, 14,255 people have negative nucleic acid test results, and the rest are being tested. A total of 44,041 people in close contact in Shanghai have been investigated, and all of them have been put under control.
