CCTV News: On the afternoon of March 14, the Jilin Provincial Health and Health Commission announced that Jilin Province added 895 local confirmed cases and 131 new local asymptomatic infections yesterday, mainly in Changchun and Jilin.
In order to further improve the medical treatment capacity, many hospitals in Changchun have added more than 1,700 beds in total. Delivery conditions, more than 1,500 beds are about to be put into use, and the shelter isolation point with more than 700 beds is under intense construction.
The four Fangcang shelter hospitals completed in Jilin City have all been put into use, with a total of 3,200 beds for the treatment of asymptomatic infections and some mild cases . The other two makeshift hospitals are rapidly expanding, with a total of 8,000 beds. Meanwhile, a 6,000-room isolation shelter is under construction.
In order to further investigate the potential infected people and realize the “social clearing” as soon as possible, Jilin has organized multiple rounds of nucleic acid testing for all employees. Jilin City has completed the seventh round of nucleic acid testing, with 15.9106 million sampled. Beginning on March 13, Jiutai District, Changchun City, one of the most severely affected areas, fully launched the fourth round of nucleic acid testing, and carried out a new round of thorough sterilization work for all communities. At the same time, a 24-hour people’s livelihood service hotline was opened.
