On the afternoon of May 26, as the last batch of patients left the hospital, the designated hospital in Shanghai Lanhai officially closed its cabins after 40 days of operation.
Lanhai Designated Hospital is located in New Hongqiao International Medical Park, Minhang District, Shanghai. It was rebuilt from Lanhai Rehabilitation Hospital. 500 beds were opened, and it was officially opened on April 17. Nearly 650 medical staff from Inner Mongolia Aid Shanghai Medical Team, Guizhou Aid Shanghai Medical Team, Minhang District Central Hospital, various community health service centers and professional stations in Minhang District of Shanghai, Lanhai Rehabilitation Hospital, and Xingchen Children’s Hospital fought side by side. A total of 956 patients diagnosed with the new crown have been treated. The youngest was only born more than a month old, the oldest was 101 years old, and the middle-aged and elderly patients accounted for the largest proportion, with a cumulative number of 551 people over 60 years old.
