2022 Asia-Pacific Robot World Cup Tianjin International Invitational to be held in June

The reporter learned from the Organizing Committee of the World Intelligence Conference that the 2022 Asia-Pacific Robot World Cup Tianjin International Invitational Tournament will be launched in June this year in a way of online and offline integration. The six competitions that many universities, middle and primary schools will participate in will be held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin).

It is understood that the event has been successfully held twice during the third World Intelligence Conference in 2019 and the fifth World Intelligence Conference in 2021. In the first competition in 2019, a total of 5 events were set up, and nearly 500 people from 103 universities, primary and secondary schools from 10 countries participated in the competition. The second competition combines the four major events and 12 small events of the China and Asia-Pacific competitions. More than 200 players from 13 countries and regions including China, the United States, and Russia have passed the line in the main stadium in Tianjin and satellite stadiums around the world. Simultaneous online and offline competition has achieved enthusiastic social response.

The six competitions of the upcoming invitational competition this year are RoboCupSoccer Humanoid Group, RoboCupSoccer Standard Platform Group, RoboCupSoccer Small Group, RoboCup@Home Group, RCAP CoSpace Competition and Enterprise Challenge. Among them, the RCAP CoSpace competition has two sub-events, namely RCAP CoSpace Intelligent Driving and RCAP CoSpace Intelligent Search and Rescue; the Enterprise Challenge has two sub-events, namely Industrial Robot System Integration Challenge and Intelligent Composite Robot Technology Application Challenge.
