On March 9, the first press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic was held in Donggang City, Dandong, Liaoning Province. At present, Donggang City has identified 2 asymptomatic infections among the centralized isolation personnel, and the results of three rounds of nucleic acid tests in Qianyang Town, Donggang are all negative.
On March 5, the Donggang Center for Disease Control and Prevention received information from the provincial informatization epidemiological information management system that there was a close contact in Qianyang Town, Donggang, who was a passenger in the same carriage of the confirmed case in Jilin Province. On March 6, the initial screening was positive by the “double test and double test”, and after review by the Dandong Center for Disease Control and Prevention, it was determined to be an asymptomatic infection. On March 8, a close contact of the infected person was identified as an asymptomatic infection in routine nucleic acid testing. The two asymptomatic infected persons were in a mother-child relationship, and were immediately transferred to the designated hospital for medical treatment in Dandong City by 120 negative pressure ambulances for isolation and medical observation.
