On June 11, in Jiulongpo District, Chongqing City, one case of asymptomatic infection of the new coronavirus was found in the routine testing of staff in high-risk positions under closed-loop management of the isolation area. According to preliminary investigations, the person has been in a closed-loop management state since he entered the quarantine point for entry on June 4, and the nucleic acid test results before June 10 were all negative. On June 11, the nucleic acid test result was positive. After consultation with the expert group, it was determined to be an asymptomatic infection and is under medical observation.
Relevant departments of Chongqing and the district acted quickly and are carrying out relevant disposal work. The follow-up situation will be released in time.
