The fifth central ecological and environmental protection inspection team transferred the twenty-fourth batch of letters and visits to the autonomous region

Among them, 53 are from the autonomous region and 10 are from the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.

The twenty-fourth batch of petitions transferred to the autonomous region involved 11 prefectures and cities, namely: 26 cases in Urumqi City, 9 cases in Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, 5 cases in Turpan City, 3 cases in Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, 3 in Aksu, 2 in Hami, and 1 in Altay, Tacheng, Hotan, Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture and Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture. According to the classification of pollution types, among the 53 letters and visits accepted by the autonomous region, there are many types of ecological, air, water and soil pollution, accounting for 20.8%, 18.9%, 18.9% and 18.9% of the total number of environmental problems respectively.

Up to now, the fifth central ecological and environmental protection inspection team has transferred a total of 1,458 letters and visits in 24 batches of Xinjiang. Among them, there are 1226 in the autonomous region and 232 in the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.

According to reports, the 1,226 letters and calls accepted by the autonomous region have all been handed over to the relevant prefectures and cities for processing in accordance with the procedures. Among them, there are 565 cases in Urumqi, 129 cases in Changji, 102 cases in Ili, 98 cases in Bazhou, 79 cases in Hami, 51 cases in Tacheng, 43 cases in Aksu, 35 cases in Kashgar, 30 cases in Turpan, and 30 cases in Altay. 28 cases, 28 cases in Bozhou, 13 cases in Hotan area, 10 cases in Karamay City, 5 cases in Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, and 10 cases were transferred to the Autonomous Region Letters and Calls Bureau. According to the classification of pollution types, among the 1,226 petitions accepted by the autonomous region, there are many types of atmospheric, ecological and soil pollution, accounting for 28.5%, 19.5% and 15.3% of the total number of environmental problems respectively.
