In one of the hotels, the price of the same room type was 1,543 yuan a night on the hotel reservation platform, but the customer service said that the store price was 2,400 yuan, and the price after a 50% discount also required 1,200 yuan, and the reservation price of this room type in September was only 997 yuan Yuan.
Another well-known five-star hotel said that tourists need to not only stay at the current store price, but also need to provide proof of flight or train cancellation. For tourists who have not yet booked air tickets or self-driving, and cannot provide the voucher, they must pay the original price at the store price and cannot enjoy the half-price discount.
In response to the above situation, on August 6, the reporter called Sanya Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports Bureau, the staff of the bureau Said that the “half-price discount service for extended stay” proposed at the press conference should be discounted on the basis of the original booking price of tourists, not the store price.
She said, At present, the competent tourism and culture department is meeting to formulate detailed rules and plans, which will stipulate the prices and catering of hotels during the epidemic prevention period. The plan will be released as soon as possible. At present, if the hotel refuses to provide extended stay service at half price of the original reservation price or raise the price in disguised form, tourists can call 12345 to file a complaint, or ask the hotel to refund the difference after the plan is introduced.
