4 On the afternoon of March 19, the Information Office of the Municipal Government held a press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia in Xi’an (the 73rd session) to report the latest situation of epidemic prevention and control.
Xiaobu learned from the press conference that after the resumption of classes, he will focus on 6 aspects of work:
One is to strengthen health monitoring. Strictly implement the “three inspections, one inspection and one elimination”, “daily report” and “zero report” system for campus epidemic prevention and control. Establish a tracking and registration system for absenteeism due to illness, closely track the diagnosis results and disease progress of sick teachers and students, and strictly implement the inspection system for certificates of resumption of classes and work.
The second is to strengthen nucleic acid sampling. The districts, counties and development zone schools where the epidemic has occurred will conduct nucleic acid sampling at a rate of 20% every day, and the districts, counties and development zone schools where no epidemic has occurred will be subject to sampling at a rate of 10%. Nucleic acid sampling should be conducted free of charge in schools. Each school should increase the frequency of nucleic acid testing for key groups such as school doctors, security personnel, canteen staff, and cleaning personnel.
The third is to strengthen the joint prevention of multiple diseases. Adhere to environmental protection and multi-disease prevention. Vigorously carry out the patriotic sanitation campaign on campus, keep the environment clean and tidy, and do a good job of disinfection and sterilization and ventilation inside the campus. In view of the frequently-occurring infectious diseases in spring, strictly implement the infectious disease prevention and reporting system.
The fourth is to strengthen access control management. All schools must resolutely guard the gates and control people, and no irrelevant personnel or vehicles outside the school are allowed to enter the campus. All personnel entering the school gate must verify their identity and have their temperature checked.
The fifth is to strengthen activity management. In accordance with the principle of non-essential not holding, strictly control gathering activities, and advocate the use of online methods. Schools are not allowed to invite relevant personnel from medium and high-risk areas to participate in offline activities.
The sixth is to strengthen personal protection. All schools should educate and guide teachers and students to develop good hygiene habits such as wearing masks, washing hands frequently, “one-meter noodles”, frequent ventilation, less gathering, and frequent disinfection, and try not to go to places with dense crowds and poor ventilation.
