Stomach pain is a symptom of recurrent and episodic pain in the upper abdomen and epigastric region. It is also known as “epigastric pain”, “heart pain” and “heart pain” in traditional Chinese medicine. Wait. More common in Western medicine acute and chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal neurosis, gastric mucosal prolapse and other diseases.

I. Clinical symptoms

1. Main symptoms: recurrent and episodic pain in the epigastric epigastric region.

Second, etiology and pathogenesis

The causes of the stomach itself and the pathological changes of other viscera affect the stomach, which can lead to stomach qi disharmony or dissatisfaction of the stomach and cause stomach pain. The pathogenesis mainly lies in the pain caused by impotence or impotence. Disharmony of stomach qi and loss of nourishment in the stomach are the key.

Third, acupuncture therapy

Clinically acupuncture and moxibustion has a good effect on the treatment of this disease. According to its etiology and pathogenesis, we often use the following acupuncture treatments to purge pathogens and stomach or strengthen the spleen and nourish the stomach, so as to relieve acute pain and cure the disease. effect.

1. Acupuncture method

The acupoints are selected according to the main symptoms and accompanying symptoms, and filigree acupuncture is used. Acute cases 1-2 times a day, chronic cases once every other day.

2. Moxibustion therapy

Select 2-3 acupoints each time, use gentle moxibustion/circular moxibustion,

15-20 minutes per acupoint, once a day, 10 times as a course of treatment.

1. Zhongwan

[Efficacy]: harmonizes the stomach, strengthens the spleen, reduces the inversion and diuresis.

[Location]: On the upper abdomen, on the anterior midline, 4 cun above the umbilicus.

[Indications]: It has obvious regulating effect on stomach pain, vomiting and acid swallowing, indigestion, diarrhea, etc.

2. Inner Pass

[Efficacy]: calms the mind and calms the mind, regulates qi and relieves pain.

[Location]: In the anterior region of the forearm, 2 cun above the transverse crease on the distal volar side of the wrist, between the tendons of the palmar longus and flexor carpi radialis tendons.

[Indications]: It is commonly used to treat palpitations, heartache, chest tightness; stomach pain, vomiting, hiccups; stroke, insomnia, dizziness, depression syndrome, epilepsy, migraine; fever, etc.

3. Zusanli

[Efficacy]: Drying the spleen and dampness, regenerating stomach qi.

[Location]: On the outer side of the calf, on the connecting line between Dubi and Xiexi, 3 cun below Dubi Point, with a horizontal finger next to the anterior edge of the tibia.

[Indications]: Commonly used for gastrointestinal diseases, paralysis of lower extremities, mental disorders, surgical diseases, and consumptive diseases.

4. Liangqiu

[Efficacy]: Regulates Qi and stomach, clears meridians and activates collaterals.

[Location]: In the anterior thigh area, 2 cun above the bottom of the patella, between the vastus lateralis and rectus femoris tendon.

[Indications]: It is often used for acute stomach pain, breast carbuncle, hematuria or knee swelling and pain, lower extremity insufficiency and other diseases.

Five, Tips

1. During the treatment, you should pay attention to a light diet, avoid cold, spicy, greasy products, avoid spirits, pay attention to dietary hygiene, and do not overeating.

2. Exercise properly and change clothes in time according to weather changes.

3. If the stomach pain is severe and the ulcer has a history of perforation, other measures or surgical treatment should be taken in time.
