【Efficacy and indications】
This product is bitter Xin San, cold to clear away heat, enter the heart and liver to move blood, and can clear away heat and detoxify, cool blood and reduce swelling, it is a general medicine for treating carbuncle and swollen furuncle. And to treat furunculosis as its specialty, it is suitable for oral administration and external application. It can also cool blood and detoxify snakes.
1. Clear heat and detoxify, cool blood and detumescence: used for furuncle carbuncle, milk carbuncle, intestinal abscess caused by accumulation of heat and toxin , erysipelas and other heat-toxin sore syndromes. The fresh product can be pounded into juice and taken orally, and its residue can be applied to the affected area; or it can be used with dandelion, silver flower and forsythia.
2. Snake venom detoxification: To treat snake venom bites, fresh products are pounded into juice for oral administration, or with a little realgar, smashed for external application.
In addition, it is used in combination with chrysanthemum and cicada slough for liver heat, red eyes, swelling and pain.

Pharmacology: In vitro tests have inhibitory effects on Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Shigella, Staphylococcus aureus, Pneumococcus, skin fungi and Leptospira.
