Chief Physician Zhang Qiwen has been clinical throughout his life. Born in Shouguang, Shandong in 1935, he followed his ancestors when he was young and was enlightened by traditional Chinese medicine. Cao Tongwen, Dong Ziyuan and other famous old Chinese medicine practitioners, after in-depth clinical work, studied with Mr. Kuai Yangshan, a well-known pediatrician in the country and the founder of Weifang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. He is proficient in internal and external gynecology and pediatrics, and is especially good at TCM treatment in pediatrics and gynecology. He also covers dermatology, andrology, geriatrics and other disciplines. He has been engaged in clinical work for more than 60 years and has written more than 30 books on traditional Chinese medicine. All over the country and abroad, he has accumulated rich clinical work experience.
Chief Physician Zhang Qiwen has devoted his life to promoting the development of traditional Chinese medicine. He has served as president of Weifang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, director of the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Shandong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Secretary and Director of the Party Committee of Weifang Municipal Health Bureau, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shandong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Deputy Director of Shandong Provincial Department of Health, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group of Weifang CPPCC, and Vice Chairman of the CPPCC also serve as the Vice-Chairman of Shandong Red Cross Society. Since the 1960s, he has been rated as a national advanced worker and a national model worker for many times. He has attended the National Cultural and Educational Talents Association. TCM Pediatrics Academic Conference, and has attended the National TCM Work Conference for many times.
Chief physician Zhang Qiwen has practiced medicine for more than 60 years. He has deeply practiced the spirit of inheriting the essence, maintaining integrity and innovation, and has made outstanding contributions to promoting the development of traditional Chinese medicine. He has established the country’s first TCM professional juvenile class, promoted the Australian TCM legislation, and is one of the founders of the Pediatric Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
