From 0 to 24:00 on April 18, there were 2 new local confirmed cases in Henan Province (1 in Xuchang City, 1 in Luohe City), and 22 new local non-infected cases (8 in Zhengzhou, 1 in Luohe). There are 8 cases in Anyang City, 2 cases in Luohe City, 1 case in Hebi City, 1 case in Shangqiu City, 1 case in Xinyang City, and 1 case in Xuchang City). 1 new imported asymptomatic infection was transferred to a confirmed case, and no new imported asymptomatic infection and suspected cases were added. 2 local confirmed cases were discharged from hospital, and 20 asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation (11 local cases and 9 imported cases).
From January 21, 2020 to 24:00 on April 18, 2022, Henan Province has reported a total of 2,859 confirmed cases (2,649 local and 210 imported), and 20 existing hospitalized cases (local). 18 cases, 2 cases imported from abroad), and 213 cases of asymptomatic infections still under medical observation (210 cases in China and 3 cases imported from abroad). A total of 79,446 close contacts have been traced, and 5,611 close contacts are being observed.
